TIM CURRY DAY - THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW 12A

Sat 17 Oct, Stamford Arts Centre film

The late Tim Curry stars in the ultimate midnight movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Dir: Jim Sharman | USA | 1975 | 100 mins

Cast | Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meatloaf, Richard O’Brien

Jim Sharman’s 1975 musical sci-fi comedy’s anarchic, camp energy and eminently singable songs have ensured its enduring cult status.

During a storm, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) happen upon the eerie mansion of scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry). Meeting a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meatloaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O'Brien), Brad and Janet’s innocence is thoroughly compromised as, through elaborate dance sequences and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky."
