Local community choir Woven Chords are back on stage after more than 2 years of lockdown! In keeping with their motto of “Worldwide Harmonies with a Local Heart” they will be singing a wide range of a cappella songs from Africa, Europe, India and beyond. Under musical director Graham Dale, prepare to be taken around the world in eighty minutes!
This evening’s set will include songs learned during some of the choir’s 54 Zoom sessions, a Ukrainian song about a cuckoo, and will even feature the world premier of “Lockdown Blues” (written by Graham after overhearing the strange things that the choir members were getting up to during that odd time).
