28 Years Later sets its scene nearly three decades after the rage virus fatefully escaped a biological weapons laboratory. A group of survivors lives in ruthlessly enforced quarantine on Lindisfarne, connected to the rest of the UK by just one heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission, he discovers the secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected, but other survivors as well.
