At Stamford Arts Centre January - March 2024.

Beginning with a series on some famous women artists.

The first series of discussions focusses on the work of some major women artists, their lives and the experiences that shaped thier work. 

Projected slides, videos and associated text books will illustrate the sessions.

Participants will be encouraged to contribute to the discussions and bring and share their own reseasch.

  • 1st February - Artemisia Gentileschi
  • 8th February - Lee Miller (related to upcoming film 'Lee')
  • 15th February - Tamara De Lempicka
  • 22nd February - Vanessa Bell
  • 29th February - Frida Kahlo
  • 7th March - Cornelia Parker and Rachel Whiteread
  • 14th March - Georgia O'Keefe
  • 21st March - Paula Rego

Future dates and subjects to be decided by the group.

Ticket: £4 per session

Cash only, payable at the start of each session

Time: 3pm - 5pm

Please arrive a few minute before to avoid a delay
