Make a one of kind handprint with our Artist in Residence, Kelly Barfoot. You’ll be using the simple cyanotype printing process which is one of the oldest photographic printing processes, developed in 1842. It’s the original ‘blueprint’ used by architects and engineers and for botanical studies using the sun to expose the images and make magic happen!
No previous experience is required as Kelly will guide you through the printing process from start to finish, you don’t need to be “arty” to take part, it’ll be interesting and fun.
The workshop will take place at Stamford Arts Centre in the main gallery and the outside courtyard area. Each workshop is 1.5 hours and limited to 8 places which need to be pre-booked by contacting community@artpopup.co.uk
The event will be run under COVID-Secure protocols with COVID controls in place.
