Living in Indonesia, Sally saw first-hand the devastating impact of plastic pollution and was propelled to take action. Sally will share her tales of discovery, from scientific research at sea to the upstream solutions on land, and how all of us have a part to play in tackling this global issue.

Sally is a keen environmentalist, adventurer and Geography teacher. In 2018, Sally joined eXXpedition, sailing through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and gaining first-hand experience of the extent of plastic in our oceans. Sally then became the Mission Leader for eXXpedition Round the World, contributing to scientific research, and helping others develop their skills to tackle the global challenge of plastic pollution.
