In a remote village on the island of Carpathia, Yuri (Helena Zengel) has been raised to fear an elusive animal species known as ochi. But when she discovers a wounded, stranded baby ochi, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to deliver him home. A dazzling showcase of technical innovation and imagination featuring animation, puppetry, matte paintings and footage shot in stunning mountain and forest locations in Transylvania and Romania, The Legend of Ochi is an enchanting throwback to classic adventure movies of the 1980s like The NeverEnding Story and The Dark Crystal.
